How early do I need to sign the contract and what kind of documentation do I need to provide to lease a storage unit?
The contract is signed when you come to your selected ESPAZO centre, and the following documentation is needed:
- For private lease: a valid photo ID;
- For business lease: company registration certificate;
You can store for as little as 15 days, and start the lease at any day of the month. You should confirm the availability of the unit area you need.
The lease of real estate property is exempt from VAT.
We are able to accept direct debit or ATM. Payments are due on the 10th day of each month.
As your requirements change, you are welcome to move to another unit at any time, should there be availability.
If the lease doesn’t starts on the first day of the month, how is it calculated the remaining lease amount?
The lease is charged from your start date until the end of that calendar month on a pro rata basis.
You will need to ensure notice is received up to the 23rd day of the month in advance of your actual move out date. The deposit will be fully refunded at the contract end, as long as all locks and keys have been returned, the unit was left clean and with no damages, and there’s no money owned.
Yes, you will be asked to pay one month as deposit.
The contract comprises an insurance policy that covers up to 500 Euros per sqm of leased space. You can pay for an extension of the insurance, if needed.
